Our Commitment

S.T.E.W.A.R.D. Tutor is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.

Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

What We Do

All pages use semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy
Interactive elements are keyboard-navigable with visible focus indicators
Color contrast meets WCAG 2.1 AA minimum ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
Form inputs have associated labels
AI responses are delivered as text, compatible with screen readers
The platform supports IEP/504 accommodations including extended time and text-to-speech compatibility
No content relies solely on color to convey information

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following accessibility limitations and are actively working to resolve them: some interactive data visualizations in the teacher dashboard may not be fully accessible to screen readers, and some PDF report exports may lack proper document structure tags.
